I will continue to advocate for caregivers because of my own experience as a caregiving family when I was young. I will speak up for caregivers so that they do not need to sacrifice their own health and well-being to care.
All over the world unpaid family and friend carers are doing the hard yards. This National Carers Day we tip our hat to all of Canada’s carers. May April 5 be a day of recognition, celebration and lots of fun.
