COVID-19 RESOURCES

FOR HOME & COMMUNITY CARE PROVIDERS

The CHCA is working with the Public Health Agency of Canada, provincial and territorial government agencies, and NGOs in sourcing the most up-to-date and reliable information and resources to assist home and community care providers with questions and concerns regarding COVID-19. Working together we can:

  • increase the understanding of new approaches and safety precautions for COVID-19 specifically in the home and community setting;
  • ensure effective care in the home and community, and support hospital discharge and “decanting’ strategies in addition to providing alternatives to long-term facility-based care; and
  • build upon each other’s expertise and experience during this challenging time.

Developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic are evolving daily and, as such, the resources provided are subject to change. The CHCA will continue to monitor and update this site as new information becomes available.
